As I situate myself between two places these years, I would like to acknowledge where I am based is on the Indigenous land and waters systems of Tkaronto. This is the territory of many Nations including Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee and the Wyandot peoples. I also acknowledge the Sámi peoples and their Sápmi region. I am beyond grateful to be present, working and listening daily on their lands and all her beautifully complex ecologies.
