Universal Ennui

2016

Movement inspired by lewd acts, lost limbs and all our boredoms is an independent site-specific piece in collaboration with Rebecca Munce's drawings. This work looks at the expense boredom takes on our lives and the sadness it can evolve into.

performance | Black Cat Gallery, Toronto, ON

The 25-minute intimate dance piece is supported with original writing by Alie Lavoie, performers allie higgins, Jess Ford and Lauren Runions. Universal Ennui premiered at Black Cat Artspace (Toronto, 2015) and was shared at White Wall Studios (Montreal, 2015) curated by Kyra Jean Green and for SO FAR (Toronto, 2016) at Winchester Street Theatre.
