tending with

tending with is a sifting practice and subtle performance. It began in response to living on island Ormøya in Oslo, Norway and a chace encounter with a person working for the Norwegian Institute for Water Research. With the wearable, designed with sound artist and clothing designer Cat Lauigan, this practice names the embodied materiality that surfaces in the work a reflection on sensations of being-with and engaging-with as matter itself.
