SIREN questions what it means to occupy an environment as opposed to fitting passively into its perceived constraints through a femme perspective, what it means to be at ease in an environment, and what it means for two people to communicate their relation to one another beyond verbal exchange.
SIREN is a collaborative expression between Zoë Thomson, Izzie Mack, Alie Lavoie, and Lauren Runions. Through an iterative creative process using text and movement, the focus shifted to an exploration of proxemics and the nonverbal interaction of entities in space.
