Gibbous Sequence

Gibbous Sequence is a pop-up piece navigating water in and around the human form, tugging at the relationship between the female body and the blue bodies of Earth. The drenched performers release water from their mouths throughout the performance.

This work was commissioned for In Exaltation and the Fall, a group art show curated by Mary Ma. The performance featured allie higgins, Jess Ford, and Jen Barrett with choreography by Lauren Runions.
